So, let me share why I do what I do. You may relate to aspects of my story.

I believe in love

As a lifelong student of happiness, I have always believed in love and marriage.

But, like many women, I have been in the relationship trenches, e.g., limbo, fears and struggles to “fix” it. And for many reasons, the cards just seemed as though they were stacked against me experiencing an extraordinary marriage.

Stories from those who refused to give up – who chose not to crumble or become bitter – motivated me to continue moving forward.

Failed counseling attempts, however, left me defeated and with an intense sense of failure. Eventually, however, I returned to the adventures of dating – duds and good guys. Sadly, the good guys didn’t stand a chance against my guarded heart.

Formally and informally, I have studied and taught about cultural and historical traditions, rituals and cultures for years. This offered me diverse resources as I continued on my path to understand love and relationships.

Then, a personal health scare put everything in perspective. Finally, I was clear. Focused. And allowed my heart to open. I understand that love and vulnerability are not to be feared, but embraced. Men are not the enemy. They are gifts.

A happy, healthy marriage

Today, I am gloriously, happily married to an extraordinary man. My extraordinary man is not perfect, but he is perfect for me.

Now, instead of being a ball buster, I embrace my feminine side.  Although I am vulnerable, I am no longer afraid.

Statistics say that 50% of marriages will fail, and that 75% of second marriages fail.  I sincerely believe, however, that most “troubled” marriages can be turned around, and thrive.

I am dedicated to helping others create their own wildly successful relationships and avoid the heartbreak of failed marriages

I am absolutely and truly honored to mentor, teach, coach, speak, and write on the “how-to’s” of creating and nurturing wildly successful marriages. Blending humor, tenderness, and sometimes a call-you-on-your-stuff style, I take a solution focused approach for developing greater intimacy, increasing passion, embracing vulnerability, and strengthening relationships.
